REN is the name (or alias) of someone that both INDI and Kepler work under (as they have mentioned in STATION_8 TERMINAL 8).
REN seems to be a taboo topic for the 7/10 characters to talk about, keeping any information regarding them confidential. SYSTEM has clarified that REN isn’t an acronym and that INDI is very loyal to them.

During the STATION_8 livestreams, INDI was tasked with sending out REN signals1, which was being kept under wraps thanks to an informant within TTH (possibly Kepler, judging by INDI saying that he “solved the problem with TTH” through bribing them with credits to not monitor the signal broadcast, see the tenth Private Room chat).
It is likely that TTH and REN are rivals, judging by the way the two interact. REN sends Long String to TTH terminals as presumably a sort of weapon against them, since it has a very destructive payload that results in their terminals having to be purged.
